QContact, a leading contact centre as a service (CCaaS) provider, has committed to providing its staff a fair living wage. Joining over 160 other businesses in Manchester, and 11,000 companies around the UK, committed to paying their staff above Living Wage Foundation’s “real living wage”. QContact also extends this commitment to ensure all our staff across the world are paid a fair living wage in their country.
The cost-of-living crisis has affected everyone this year, from fuel prices to food inflation, and QContact took a very early stance on this issue and ensured all our staff this year had above-inflation pay rises. QContact continues to remain committed to looking after our current and future staff.
Low pay is a problem that disproportionately affects women and people of colour, with over 38% of Black/Black British workers and 60% of women being in low pay.
